It was great, we got to learn a lot about native bees, and then we got to walk around and look at native bees and catch them to look at them (and then release them, of course). Doc even caught a cuckoo bee!<\/p>\n<figure style=\"width: 640px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><a title=\"Native bee talk in Marin today\" href=\"https:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/58189808@N03\/34261751744\/in\/dateposted-public\/\" data-flickr-embed=\"true\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/c1.staticflickr.com\/5\/4287\/34261751744_023ca29b7d_z.jpg\" alt=\"Native bee talk in Marin today\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\"><\/a><figcaption class=\"wp-caption-text\">The cuckoo bee that Doc caught<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Everybody looked around a lot for bumblebees, because supposedly it is the season for there to be lots of them, but we did not see any bumblebees (surprising, too, because at my office in Marin I see bumblebees all the time). Oh, well.
