I think I finally need to get a new laptop. My old trusty ASUS is 15 years old now, and is getting weird (I suspect hard drive). And then I fired up my “new computer” as a backup, only to find that it is from 2015. So it might be close to time. But I feel like I don’t really want to get a new one whilst my old one(s) are completely functional. But I do find it is starting to hold me back in some of my artistic pursuits (digital painting is getting clunkier on it, video editing is sad on it, and modelling in Blender on it is meh).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You might be wondering why I don’t just use my “new laptop” all the time? Well I bought it for some coursework that required macs and I used it for my classes, but then I never really got to like it so I just kept using the old ASUS. Maybe I should make the switch now, but switching to a 10 year old computer as the “new” one seems… almost maybe like a waste of time?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the meantime, painting the elves continues to vex me, but they come ever closer to completion. Can’t wait for them to be finished, so then I can… paint more elves. The cycle of life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
