Duhn nuhn nuhn nuuuh!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Right up until just a few weeks ago, I was completely without any inspiration as to what to wear for Halloween this year. I had finally resigned myself to recycling a previous year&#8217;s costume, but then I saw the Adventure Time episode &#8220;Nemesis&#8221; whilst trying to catch up on Season 6.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/wJPBJK7rC4k\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Suddenly, I was inspired! There was this goofy character that was a riff on the old <a href=\"http:\/\/tvtropes.org\/pmwiki\/pmwiki.php\/Main\/TheWitchHunter\" target=\"_blank\">Witch-Hunter<\/a> \/ <a href=\"http:\/\/tvtropes.org\/pmwiki\/pmwiki.php\/Main\/TheHunter\" target=\"_blank\">The Hunter Trope<\/a>, who has sworn to defeat evil, whilst also raising 3 children and driving around in a minivan.<\/p>\n<p>Doc thinks that Peace Master leans a bit towards <a href=\"http:\/\/tvtropes.org\/pmwiki\/pmwiki.php\/Main\/HeWhoFightsMonsters\" target=\"_blank\">He Who Fights Monsters<\/a> and\/or <a href=\"http:\/\/tvtropes.org\/pmwiki\/pmwiki.php\/Main\/VanHelsingHateCrimes\" target=\"_blank\">Van Helsing Hate Crimes<\/a> in that he believes Peace Master is struggling with evil within himself and this is what fuels his intense hatred of evil and the dark arts, but I disagree. I think he is more of the <a href=\"http:\/\/tvtropes.org\/pmwiki\/pmwiki.php\/Main\/MageKiller\" target=\"_blank\">Mage Killer<\/a> \/ Witch Hunter played straight.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.certainly-strange.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/11\/Peace_Master_costume.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-large wp-image-867\" src=\"http:\/\/www.certainly-strange.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/11\/Peace_Master_costume-1024x798.jpg\" alt=\"Peace_Master_costume\" width=\"640\" height=\"499\" srcset=\"http:\/\/www.certainly-strange.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/11\/Peace_Master_costume-1024x798.jpg 1024w, http:\/\/www.certainly-strange.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/11\/Peace_Master_costume-300x234.jpg 300w, http:\/\/www.certainly-strange.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/11\/Peace_Master_costume.jpg 1130w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 709px) 85vw, (max-width: 909px) 67vw, (max-width: 984px) 61vw, (max-width: 1362px) 45vw, 600px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Plus, he looks very &#8220;costumey.&#8221; So I pulled together a costume, and it worked out! Hooray!<\/p>\n<p>An extra bonus about the Peace Master costume: it has a built-in purse. Most costumes don&#8217;t have a purse, and\/or wearing your purse with them detracts. But the Peace Master costume <em>requires<\/em> a purse.
