Pecan Tartlets

I tried Max Miller’s 1919 recipe for pecan pie that doesn’t use corn syrup, but I decided to make it into little tartlets instead of a whole pie because that is easier to transport and store.

They were a hit! I would definitely make it again, it is more custardy and less cloyingly sweet than modern pecan pies.
