Mango guava tartlets

For a baking club this month’s theme was “tropical fruits.” When I went to the store the best looking tropical fruits I could find were mangoes and guavas so I bought those and decided to make tartlets with them.

I made shortbread shells, lined them with white chocolate ganache, then filled them with mango curd and topped them with guava jam.

I liked them a lot, and it is a good thing most of them got eaten otherwise I would have eaten way too many!


I gave myself a mini-vacation and went down to a writing and literature con for about 4 days, and it was honestly amazing. I really needed to get away, and I had much more fun with all the panels and events than I thought I would. Let my brain re-center itself. And it of course helped that I got a lot of socializing in.
